Founded in Champaign, IL in 2013, RRC is a small, but growing, company. We are excited about expanding our services to the Northern Virginia/DC area. We are proud of our incredible team of Research Engineers and support staff, who are highly driven individuals with a great initiative. All our Research Engineers hold doctoral degrees and have an outstanding research record. We are grateful for their contributions to the company and we take pride in providing an environment where they continue to learn, grow, and feel valued.
ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL
Dr. Chetana Rao is the Founder of the company who brings over 20 years of experience in research, and technology transfer covering the broad areas of materials, pavement analysis and design, bridges, performance prediction, quality assurance (QA), nondestructive testing, and value engineering. Dr. Rao’s research portfolio includes projects supported by the National Science Foundation, the Federal Highway Administration, the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, the Federal Aviation Administration, State Departments of Transportation, and highway industry organizations.
Dr. Rao holds Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees from Osmania University in India, the University of Connecticut and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign respectively. She has authored several research reports, journal and conference publications. Dr. Rao has received awards for her technical accomplishments from the industry, professional associations, and her former employer.
